The ultimate battle of the sexes!
Arguably the most famous play from the ancient world, 4th century Greek comedy Lysistrata by Aristophanes pitches women against men in the ultimate battle of the sexes.
Fed up with their husbands’ constant warring, the women of Greece, led by ‘disbander of armies’ Lysistrata, go on a sex strike until their husbands can negotiate peace. Scandalous, salacious hijinks ensue!
