Dr Jane Goodall's Roots & Shoots is a community action and learning program, that builds on the legacy and vision of Dr. Jane Goodall to place the power and responsibility for creating community-based solutions to big challenges concerning animals, people and the environment into the hands of the young people.
If you are someone who is concerned about climate change and action and would like further information on how you can be involved in a local group, or start your own group, and ‘make a difference’ then we would love to hear from you.
This groups focus is to connect people to nature and in particularly to our young people. The group meets monthly and for our next meeting the State Coordinator from the Jane Goodall Institute of Australia will be speaking.
Teachers are strongly encouraged to attend, learning tools available for all ages.
