Students who are familiar with the basic rules of chess are welcome to advance their skills at CHESS KINGDOM.
Thursdays from 4:00-5:30pm in the Toowoomba City Library Conference Rooms – 3rd Floor.
$10 per participant, per session.

Students will learn more than the fundamentals, they will be guided through a series of lessons that will help them to develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of chess. They will explore opening theories, end-game principles and tricks/traps to employ or avoid. Students will also be challenged with chess-based puzzles, explore chess tactics and have opportunities to improve their Chess Ratings.
From 6:00-7:00pm, mums, dads, grandparents and students are welcome to practise their skills through competitive play. $5 per participant, per week.
