The Junior Development Series (JDS) features tournaments that spread across the South Region giving junior players an opportunity and a platform to compete in an environment that focuses on developing skills on court and an overall positive attitude.

The South Regional Assembly has taken the decision to make the Junior Development Series equal, open and inviting by adopting the UTR rating system as part of it this year. Tennis Australia has partnered with Universal Tennis, the company behind the Universal Tennis Rating (UTR), to bring you a global tennis rating system at events across Australia.This would allow our players to understand their level and performance better.

• This event is part of the South JDS circuit and qualifying for the Road to Brisbane.
• Acceptance lists will be based on first in first served
• UTR system is an ability based system- Please note that all entries will be taken as on group – 17/U
• Match formats are determined by the number of entries with best efforts to get each player a minimum of 4 matches. Formats will be confirmed to players once entries close.

Criteria to Register:

• To enter this Tournament; Players Must be an Active Member of an affiliated club with Tennis Queensland
• Players must be 17/U 
• Players must have a Tennis ID that will be requested at the time of payment.
• No manual entries will be accepted.
