The Safety Institute of Australia (Queensland Branch) invites you to join us and be part of the 25th Annual Occupational Health and Safety Visions Conference to be held in Toowoomba, from 21-23 May 2017.

Visions is a unique and important annual event forming part of the broader national conference and events program at the SIA. It has a long-standing reputation for being an event with a special blend of networking, socialising and exploring new and developing trends in work health and safety, for both the people making safety work on the ground, as well as those leading in the field.  Visions 2017 features high level,  contemporary keynote speakers who are experts in their field of study and research, along with WHS Regulators and industry experts discussing current industry topics.

The conference provides the perfect opportunity to network with your peer group while experiencing contemporary and best-practice OHS solutions showcased by fellow safety professionals. Take advantage of the opportunity to rub shoulders with a variety of specialist safety, academic, legal, medical, allied health and government professionals and ask all those tricky questions – you never know who you might be sitting next to in a workshop or at the conference functions!

We realise that time is valuable, and have specially scheduled this year’s conference to minimise travel time and expenses.  The conference program will be scheduled to allow delegates to fly in Thursday and out Friday.

SIA members and students receive a discounted rate, and attendance at the conference counts towards Continuing Professional Development points required to maintain SIA grades of Chartered Professional Member and above.
