The Darling Downs Irish Club (DDIC) are proudly hosting a James Joyce festival on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 June 2022.
Every year we celebrate Bloomsday, 16June, on the closest Sunday. This year is the centenary of the publication of Ulysses so more celebrations are occurring. On Saturday 11 June, we have a Bodhran and Ceilidh Workshop, followed by a Ceilidh. On Sunday 12 June Unveiling of James Joyce mural, followed by a reading from Ulysses, and followed by lunch and 'Bloom movie'.
