The Apron Project features artworks by Toowoomba-based artist Amanda Digweed.

Amanda’s artworks look at personal memories gifted to her from key people in her life. Often referencing contemporary fibre artists, Amanda’s work explores the transformation of a memory into visual language. While she uses a variety of materials and processes in each project, her methodology is consistent. Although there may not be material similarities, they are linked by their intentions of honour.

For an opportunity to learn more about Amanda’s artistic practice and work, join us for an Artist Talk at the Crows Nest Gallery on Sunday 20 November at 11am.

Free event | All welcome | No bookings required

The Apron Project is on display from 16 November - 11 December 2022.
