Elements of Change is an exhibition by members of the Artists of Crows Nest focusing on our changing world through the elements of Earth, Wind, Fire and Water.
These elements play an important part of the changes we continue to experience and observe in Nature, what we live through every day and what identifies us as artists living in rural Queensland. In recent history our region has experienced droughts, bushfires and floods of increased magnitude.
As artists we have been directly affected by visual and emotive communication through the news media. Of even greater impact has been the lived experiences of confronting changes in nature observed in our local area.
Participating artists include - Kathryn Germain, Sue Nelson, Julie Sweeney, Rosalie Eustace, Carol Chay, Stacey Blinco, Robyn Drury, Beronica Murray, Pam Shipman, Kathy Brownsden, Jane Hoffman, Robyn Henderson, Jane Arthars, Linda Hoad and Megan Weegink.
Join us on Sunday 12 March 2023 @ 11am for an Artist Talk with members of the Artists of Crows Nest.
Exhibition on display 8 March – 2 April 2023.
