Empowering Women: Visual Conversations, a groundbreaking photography exhibition, is set to captivate audiences from March 8 to March 28, 2024, at The Write Gallery in Toowoomba. 

This transformative event, coordinated by Kat Lynn, Owner/Photographer of Sonny & Kat Photography and Foodie Shots aims to amplify the voices of women who have overcome adversity, inspiring others to find their inner strength.

Empowering Women: Visual Conversations is more than just an exhibition; it is an immersive experience that sheds light on the resilience, courage, and determination of women in our local community. The exhibition features six powerful portraits accompanied by projections, audio installations, and artist reflections, creating a dynamic visual conversation that emphasises the strength found in vulnerability. Themes include mental health, LGBTQI+, disability and inclusion, and youth at risk.

Empowering Women aims to create a platform for women to share their stories, break down barriers, inspire others, and foster community connections. The exhibition seeks to provide a safe space for the diverse stories of everyday women, emphasising that small victories are just as important as grand achievements.
