Cecil Plains - 2024 ANZAC Day March & Service

ANZAC Day is a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand that broadly commemorates all Australian's and New Zealander's who served and died in all wars, conflict and peacekeeping operations' and the contribution and suffering for all those who have served'.  

People are encouraged to participate in the Cecil Plains ANZAC Day Mid-Morning March, Wreath Laying Ceremony and Service.

Please note: Some roads will have reduced speed limits between 08:30am and 12:00md..

Mid-Morning:

• 09:30am - Assemble for the March near the Railway Station Museum, Cecil Plains 
• 09:45am - March commences to Henry Stuart Russell Park, Taylor St Cecil Plains
• 10:00am - Wreath Laying Ceremony and Service in Henry Stuart Russell Park
• 11:00am - Service concludes followed by Morning tea
• 12:00pm - Roads return to normal speed limits
