This short course introduces participants to the potential of simple, effective and fun textile printing techniques onto fabric that can be easily reproduced at home. Prints for T-shirts, tea towels, cushions, bags and placement prints onto garments can all be produced.  Techniques include screen printing, monoprinting, resist processes, and photographic screens showing how different types of texture and effects can be achieved. The course also discusses how students can begin printing longer lengths of fabric for fashion and interiors through simple registration processes.
