This two-hour walking tour of one of Queensland’s oldest surviving cemeteries brings the Toowoomba region’s amazing history to life.
The lives and deaths of pioneering locals reveal gripping stories of hardships and hangings, triumph and tragedy, ingenuity and innovation, mischief and murder.
Along with unearthing the stories of some fascinating people who rest in the Drayton & Toowoomba Cemetery, the tour will explore cemetery symbolism, craftsmanship, and funerary and burial practices of a bygone era.
