The Australian Institute of Architects invites you to a lunch-time seminar on the 21 August to hear from Dr. Rosemary Kennedy, Dunbar Fellowship recipient 2017.

This session will be an opportunity to hear the results and findings of the research she undertook during 2018 investigating climate-responsive place-based tall residential buildings. Rosemary will share insights on high-density living in tropical and subtropical South East Asian megacities and some planning and green building policy issues. You'll learn what innovative architects do to achieve alternative designs for projects with the same scope, complexity and regulations, as the energy-intensive ‘glass box’ typology and gain an understanding on factors and strategies that can influence the emergence of potent climate-based architecture in Australia for both private and public benefit.
