Annual Clifton Country Week Festival

Clifton Country Week is held each year in October for locals and visitors to have some fun and to promote a great small town. This year events will be held from Friday 14th October until Saturday 22nd October, with the main weekend of events being from Friday 14th until Sunday 16th.

The week starts with the Bush Dance on Friday 14th October, Saturday 15th October has Street Markets, Food Trucks, Children’s Entertainment - including a Treasure Hunt, an Art Show presented by the Back Road Artists Organisation, Car Show N Shine, Iris and Rose Show, Lions trivia night and a tourist train coming from Warwick with a return trip to Greenmount from Clifton offered.

Sunday 16th October the Clifton Garage sale Trail takes place, keep your eyes open for some awesome bargains. There will also be a coffee van outside the railway station.

Monday 17th – Dabblers Arts & Crafts 10th birthday celebrations – 10am until 2pn with cake and craft activities.

Thursday – Passion for Fashion parade at the Jam Factory in King Street Clifton 12.30pm $10 entry includes afternoon tea and three raffle tickets. Night bowls at the Clifton Bowls Club, names in by 6.30pm for a 7pm start, $7 per player, prizes, and raffles on the night. Light supper provided.

Friday – CWA Devonshire Tea 10am until 20m at the CWA Rooms, 72 Clark Street Clifton

The week ends with the Clifton Race Day conducted by the Clifton Jockey Club on Saturday 22nd October 2022. 5 Race program, children’s activities, great family day out. More information 0487 176 203.
