Wear It Purple Day is a National Day of Awareness to recognise diversity and young people in our LGBTQIA+ community.

This day was created to support environments where rainbow young people can feel proud of who they are, Wear It Purple Day is an opportunity for our schools, universities, workplaces and the wider community to collaborate and promote the value of diversity and inclusion. 

This event has been developed by the Toowoomba Regional Youth Leaders in collaboration with Carers QLD, Mosaic Pride, Queensland Council for LGBTI Health and Lifeline Darling Downs 

Come along for an evening of music, food, stallholders, and art to celebrate rainbow young people in our community. 

If you are a stallholder who has resources or information on services which support and are targeted towards queer young people. Please head here to register your interest. Please note stallholder expressions of interest are closed from 1 August 2024.
